Thieves make off with cash after B&E's

OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who broke into two businesses in Gravenhurst.
Police say that on Friday, April 18, officers responded to a report of two break and enters that had occurred at addresses on Talisman Drive, one at a quick service restaurant and the second, in the same strip mall several store fronts away at a business under renovation.
OPP report that the suspect entered the restaurant through a broken window and with the assistance of evidence collected at the scene, it was determined that the suspect broke into the businesses just after 5:30 a.m. and made off with a small amount of cash.
Police are asking that anyone with information call Bracebridge OPP or Crimestoppers.
